Fulbright US Student Program writing workshops scheduled for August!

We are holding THREE online Fulbright US Student Program (FUSP) application writing workshops focused on the statement of grant purpose (SoGP) for UW-Madison students, alumni & staff with applications in the online portal for the 2027-2028 cycle.

In these sessions we will review the requirements for respective SOGPs, look at past successful statements, and be joined by awardees to discuss their strategies and process for tackling the application. We will also have time for questions and discuss participants specific challenges and plans.

Workshop participants must have initiated applications in Fulbright’s online application system prior to the workshop and appear in the UW-Madison queue of applications. Participants are also strongly encouraged to have draft statements of their own as well.

Workshops will be held online (via Zoom) on:

Please register for the appropriate session at https://go.wisc.edu/FUSPworkshop

Registrants will receive the Zoom link with registration confirmation, materials for review, and reminders prior to the program.

We will hold at least one additional online workshop focused on the short answer questions and hope to have at least one in-person workshop for those in the Madison area later in the month.
